Our Aim
To produce a range of garments that are the finest of their kind, that are lasting and wholesome, that create a feeling of pride and passion in a job well done.
We hope our customers will feel a kinship with John Partridge that is rarely found from a product normally as mundane as clothing. Through design, development and expertise we offer clothing that stands ahead of others and reflects our customers demand for the finest in make, material and colour.
Our History
We started as a small country clothing maker in 1969, by selling clothes initially direct to farmers in Staffordshire, and then through a range of specialist farm shops.
During the 1980`s we extended our reach and concept to create the first luxury country clothing range that was sold through the finest stores in Great Britain.
In the 1990`s we reached out to continental Europe and Japan as well as the USA.
For the new Millennium we joined together with Montgomery, the world's oldest duffel coat maker.
Today we plan to grow our business through the positive power of word of mouth, with customers being our best advertisement.
Our Concept
We do not believe in temporary clothing- our garments mould to the shape of our customer and become unique to them.
We believe fundamentally in innovation, especially in the use of previously traditional fabrics and garments. Our products are often selectively extravagant providing luxury in a discreet manner.
