Sales Assistant Barton Marina.
Our Sales Assistant position offers so much more than serving from behind a till. John Partridge & Co want hands-on, committed individuals to share their knowledge and passion for country life. We are looking for a someone who will proactively approach every customer and deliver a true retail customer experience.
This is a wonderful working environment where you can work independently and have your ideas implemented in order to create a highly successful store. Our team members are expected to:
Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge to our customers
Efficiently replenish stock and use basic computer skills
Be able to effectively use the till, including cash handling
Assist in areas of security, delivery and housekeeping
We are looking for a part time sales assistant to work in our Barton Marina store. The candidate must be approachable, able to work independently and reliable. The role is for 3 days a week - with one day during the weekend. The hours are Mon-Sat 10am, Sun 11-4. Ideally the candidate would be able to work Mon, Tuesday and Saturdays, though some flexibility is available.
It would be ideal if the candidate had previous clothing retail experience. As a company we are interested in developing relationships with our customers - so you must be happy to chat away and get to know people. Full Sales Assistant training will be given to the right candidate, so if you are passionate about delivering quality and knowledgeable customer service and will be flexible in providing support for the store and this well-loved British Company, we would love to hear from you!
If the candidate has experience or knowledge about selling items on Amazon, this would be beneficial and would also lead to a bonus scheme being introduced.
