The communities across Great Britain are being called upon by the SAS (not the one you're thinking of) to help clean our nations beaches. Surfers Against Sewage in partnership with Californian wine company Barefoot have begun a campaign to get us all to roll up our sleeves and clear the rubbish of our beaches and keep it off so that we can in future roll up our trousers and have those long walks across the sand which has become so hard to do in recent years with the amount of waste that seems to be permanently gathering there.
As part of the launch, a huge SOS signal has been created in sand on the beach at Morecambe Bay. If that doesn't act as a bit of encouragement to us all then what will?
